Revolving Restaurant and the Bday Boy! :)
I had so much fun last night! It was Joseph's birthday, so we did something special (yet affordable!). It was a bludge during the day, but from 3pm onwards, I was just on my feet going from one place to another.
First, took the train to Town Hall. Ahhh the train was packed with schoolkids who got on in Parramatta and got off somewhere between Granville and Lidcombe. Rowdy, rowdy kids!! So I just concentrated on my reading material.. The Da Vinci Code!! Wehehehe.
Got off at Town Hall around 345pm, walked towards QVB, and then to Joseph's work building. I had to wait for about 5 minutes outside, and then surprised him as he got out of the building. I was meant to buy a card and banana muffin from Muffin Break but I forgot (as usual!).
Then we walked to Myer, bought the muffin, and then walked around Roger David. I told him I was going to get him a suit for birthday, but since he needs to be fitted I couldn't really buy the suit without him knowing. So there goes my birthday surprise. HAHAHA.
Anyway, we bought the suit, looked around Kookai, Veronika Maine (that blue dress was gorgeous but EXPENSIVOOO!!! $350!!), and Cue for a dress I need to wear for a friend's wedding. Since our dinner reservations wasn't till 7pm, we had a good 2 hours to spend bumming around the city. So we took photos:

So anyway, after 32592054375 hours of waiting, we finally went to.. guess where... 360 degrees restaurant in Sydney Centrepoint AMP tower!!!!!!!!
The view was fabulous!!!!
And the food was fab too!!! I didn't take a photo of the food because they might think we're from the mountains who haven't seen fine dine food before, but in all seriousness, WE HAVEN'T!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA.

Joseph had the angus beef steak with truffled potatos which was yummo, and I had pan fried snapper with fettuccini and clams with was yuuuuuuuummmmmy. The side baby cos lettuce salad was delish. My 2003 Muscat dessert wine was fab. We finished everything up to the last drop. Even the complimentary bread and butter didn't go to waste - we ate everything!!! The butter was obviously home cooked and it was so tasteful, and the bread was fresh, with a hard crust but a soft and warm inside!
Anyway, we took our time with our meals while savouring the delightful view. We did the whole 360 degree view in 1 hour, and you can see as far as.. erm.. I dunno! The view stretched from the Harbour Bridge, ANZAC bridge, and Moore Park all the way to the southern suburbs. Ahhhhh so wonderful.
It cost us about $40 each for the food since Joseph had some discount card thing, but it was all well worth it!!!

Baduy ako, eh ano ngayon?!
My mum and I are on a baduy Filipino movie fest.
We love that shop somewhere in the tiny alleys of Blacktown that rents Filipino dvds and vcds.
Now we have about 5 dvds of Maalala Mo Kaya, and cheesy Pinoy chick flicks Close To You, To Have and To Hold, and whatever else.
Yaaak baduy nga, pero ano ngayon?!
I miss the Philippines eh!!!
NOTE: I'm still craving for Jollibee Chickenjoy. MOOWAHAHAHA!
