Dyosa's Power Strikes at 09:56 AM Naiinis ako nang mabasa ko sa mismong blog ni Ser Joey Baquiran na hindi lang pala simpleng aksidente sa kalsada ang nangyari sa kanya. Kung may itinuturing akong tatay sa literary scene, masusulit mo iyon sa dalawa: si Prof. Rogelio Ordoñez at si Ser Joey. Nung bagito pa lang ako sa LIRA Poetry Clinic [napadpad lang ako roon dahil ang opisina ng Filipino Magasin kung saan ako ngsusulat dati--noong 16/17 anyos pa lang ako--ay pinagdarausan din ng mga workshops ng LIRA]. Kahit may gatas pa ako sa labi, pinagtiwalaan na ako ni Ser Joey. Instrumento siya para lumabas ang tula ko sa CCP Ani literary journal noong 1997 [17 pa lang ako noon--certified virgin!]. Hanggang ngayon. Doon sa autograph ni Ser Joey sa kopya ng Onyx niya, nakakataba ng puso yung pagtitiwala niya sa pagtula ko--sa politikal. Mahirap makuha iyong ganoong inspirasyon. Iyong inspirasyon na hindi nauwi sa kutsabahan at pandurugas [oo nga, pera-pera nga ang panitikang Pinoy.. oo nga, nakakasuka]. Malaki ang respeto ko sa dalawang higanteng manunulat. May nadaanan akong rambol ng dalawang gang dito sa amin. Akala ko tapos na yung rambol. Paatras na kasi iyong nakasalubong kong grupo ng mga dugyot/lumpen na kabataan. Me dala pang tubo iyong isa. Iyong iba umaawat. Akala ko tapos na. Nang bigla na lang may lumipad na bote. Tumama sa binti ko. Actually sa binti ko nabasag iyong bote. Punyeta buti na lang nakapantalon ako. May maliit na laslas nga ang pantalon ko. Kasinlaki ng putol na aspile. Buti na lang hindi tumama sa ulo ko iyong bote. Kung mangyayari iyon siguradong mabubuwal ako at masusugod pa sa ospital. hay. Buti na lang hinipan ng kung ano iyong bote at pasa lang sa binti ang inabot ko. Hay. Buti na lang me nagmamahal sa akin. [me ganung pahabol?] |

thanksgiving Dyosa's Power Strikes at 08:33 AM    happy thanksgiving y'all, i would just like to list down a few things here, i know am forgetting a lot of things to thank for, but i'll try after not getting what i sorta wanted, after hyping yourself to the fact, made me angry, sad, sour graping, and most likely not want it again for about another year i try to think positive. soooooo, instead of moping i list down a few things to remind me why i am very lucky. i thank God for: my support system, benj, my parents who love and support me inspite of. tl melai from whom i will always ask coaching regardless of what account i get myself into. my via astris family i.e. gigi, pao, penny and the rest of you who love me and take time to get to know me even though you don't have to i.e. because you're stuck at work with me nine hours a day. my in laws, esp cyn and bot, who both get me, i thank the two of them for being two of the best people on this planet, they are just the dream people you can share a household with. i.e no meddling and very supportive. i especially thank cyn for yesterday, she took me to a bobbi brown workshop and we went shopping and took my mind off my shitty week. sister kai iris clarke, ra who got me a new pair of assumption college high school uniform for next week's event and the following old girl's day. to my loyal att and cisco pre paid load customers. to the little angels around me, 2sox, norah, mimi, percy the golden retriever who welcomed me home after that awful night of nothing, doggy, souix, rain, and the hamsters and turtles in this house. to the r&e cab driver that was patient with me while i was frantic, almost crying looking for keys at 330 in the morning after that stupid interview. to bot's dsl without which i would not be able to list all these things down, and without which i would not be able to fill up my hard drives with this week's favorite tv shows to get my mind off how it is their loss not mine. to reby, who always have good things for me to eat. to my hsbc card. to bodyshop, faceshop, and now bobbi brown. so pamahal ng pamahal hahaha  again, to benj who gave me my phone that will play music in my ears when i get back to work and pretend i don't give a fuck. to convergys for my job and its perks. no joke, i will still work for convergys no matter what, whether it's cisco or back to att and do my usual best! cvg has my loyalty. to intelicare for my dental treatment this week. it's the little things, it's the big things, i hope you have a great thanks giving weekend and spend it with your family! |
