it pains me not to join aunt carol and tessa in HK today. lucky bitch, canon won in the tussle. the thing is if i chose HK, i have no camera. if i chose camera, then i'd go to HK. but what's the essence of going to HK if there's no camera right? haha. anyway so i decided to get the cam first. blessing in disguise din, because i will be needing money for my new room. ive been browsing a lot of catalogs for room furniture just to end up with ace hardware haha. kidding. im planning to go to blims in ortigas.

im not sure if alfie will be joining me. we were supposed to transfer last week but then he had to go back to the province and seek permission from his mom. i hope by thursday he's got a response already. the thing is, francis is supposed to come with me...but he's got 3 days of school in a week lang yata. so he doesnt have to stay in sampaloc for the time being.

not that i am sourgraping. it's just so obvious. taeneo was destined to be the champs this season. narvasa was named the comish. he's an ugly taenean by the way. secondly, UP's the host. we all know about mvp's monetary contribution to peyups. abs cbn's top honchos are ateneans. oh well, what else?

i almost forogt to pay attention to this blog. poor baby. if not for the article i'm beginning to write on blogging, won't even remember. well my boss asked me to write something about it, and how i integrate it with my lessons. since im not really a good writer, i  still have to finish more than one and a half pages. oh well, im beginning to concentrate on it now. it would be the end of the semester in less than three weeks. how time flies by so quick. i didn't even notice it. i would surely miss my students. they will of course never be forgotten, they're my first set of students. what's even greater is some of them are considered friends already. as a matter of fact, for two consecutive nights already, i have been having dinner with a student. he lives on the other side of our street.

what else... ateneo vs la salle on sunday. of course, how can i forget writing about it. i've been sleepless for several nights aleady. until yesterday, i was able to secure a ticket. upper box for that matter. still, i don't know what i'll wear yet. tomorrow, i think i'll buy that adidas jacket. if you're a mall rat, you'll see that poster which features ateneo and la salle players. but when tina and me visited the adidas store in gateway last sunday, there's no jacket na. plus i'd have to buy pa a pair of havaianas. i gave away my old havs to the car wash boy already so i need a new one obviously. tamang tama, the family's gonna have a dinner in trinoma. can't we have another venue?

so many things, both good and bad transpired these past few days. maybe i can call myself a busy person. if sleeping, computing grades and bringing the dirty clothes to the laundry shop are the only purposes why i go home, and that it describes what a busy person does, then i perceive myself to be busy. but i still question myself if it's really worth it being busy. oh well, i admit i kinda like miss my social life. not that i'm losing my social life totally. it's just i miss what i used to do when i was young. here i am again. i think i've mentioned this several times already.

i hate that it rained so hard past midnight last night. i remember sleeping before 1 am and that's the time it started raining. i thought it was a so-so rain. i just slept as if nothing was gonna happen. by 2 am, my brother woke me up and told me that it was already flooded outside. and it's not the simple flood i used to see. it's almost knee deep. and since my car's semi-lowered, i didn't know if i'm gonna scream out of panic or something. the water level was almost at the door of the car. buti na lang there were few verhicles that passed by. but nevertheless, naabutan pa ren the makina. takte talaga. i hate this espana river. ooops, i don't live along espana. it's just that espana is more known as flood prone. what people don't know is places like ours along de la fuente, florentino, dapitan, blumentrit, etc are flood prone as well. if i can only say f*** off to these kalsadas. buti na lang our neighbor has this high sidewalk where we can park our cars if there's flood.

when i was on my way to megamall this morning, i got caught by a manila traffic bureau for turning left to lacson ave. haha. a traffic enforcer on a sunday? what da heck. of course, i used my malacanang sticker. im tired of giving away money to these abusive enforsers.

then i realized there was a nike and adidas sale at the megatrade hall. i bought a pair of shoes out of being impulsive. i don't know now when and how im gonna wear it, by means of pairing it with a nice jeans, that sort of way. i also bought  2 pairs of socks, half of which i will give to josh tomorrow. i promised him that before. then the family had lunch at mann hann. then i immediately had to leave because josh was coming na. tamang tama, when we arrived sa ultra, the game was already starting. la salle-adamson. i told myself, kayang kaya. adamson's out na anyway. i was wrong. nag overtime pa. and if not for breaks of the game, mukhang talo pa ang la salle. but i was happy since we're solo second.

second game, talo ust. they're out. too bad. we didn't even finish the game. oh, i know now the owner of the yellow honda jazz in front of the house. he's part of the people taking care of the UST tigers. intern or something. but bad trip pag labas. umuulan. eh im wearing pa naman my white lacoste shoes. buti sheila's car's parked sa may labas lang ng ultra. then we ate sa mr choi's sa galleria. i liked the abalone. they say it's healthy. so, im just making digest whatever i have in my tummy. when i wake up tomorrow, work na naman. :(

I ain't actually a Ginkings die hard. I'm more of a Coke Tigers fan talaga. But since I have some friends there, I'm kinda compelled to cheer for the team most of the time. There's Paul, Paulo, JR, Willie, Billy and most esp. Ronald. Buti na lang, classes were suspended last Wednesday. So I decided to just go to Ronald's house in Valle Verde to make use of the time wisely since I have half of the day to spend. And besides, there were just a couple of hours left before color coding resumed.

We left Pasig when the game was already starting. Marison had an hour of prepping up for the game. lolz. At least, by 2nd quarter we were there. I didn't have a seat. lolz. There were really lots of people, parang ateneo la salle game. but it was more disorganized. Although I must say, ang daming Ginebra. Too bad, the section where Edd, me and marvin stayed was in that part of the Air21 section. Idk. I had that feeling Ginebra's gonna win that night.

I was right. Ginebra won. And what's better was Ronald was the Finals MVP alongside Eric Menk. What's good about it is that Ronald started playing in Game 3 only after "being forced" to play to replace JayJay. And in addition, Ronald's ankle is still swollen because of his injury. I'm really happy for him.

After the championship game, we went to Saisaki to have dinner. Konti lang nakain ko because it was 11 pm already. Konti in a sense that, it was supposed to be a buffet. And when you say buffet, it's war. haha. After the dinner, we went back to Ron's house while Ron and Marison went to Fiamma. I was too sleepy but I had to digest all what I ate so I tried to sleep while the others were drinking booze and singing the karaoke. oh well  I had to go home at around 5 am because I had classes yesterday. To top it all, Im happy because my bonus kami kay ronald. haha. Congrats Ronald Tubid!

shit talaga. i don't know naman kasi why i was so hungry upon waking up. i remember eating tons of pizza and pasta last night before going home. i was with anna, russel and gio at avenetto or whatever. anyway so when i woke up i decided to go to mcdo to eat breakfast since mcdo is nearer then jollibee, in all honesty mas masarap ang breakfast ng jollibee compared to mcdo. yesterday jollibee na ako eh. so i decided to buy din the security guard breakfast as wala lang. libre. i thought id have the sausage mcmuffin and then the sekyu's gonna have the longganisa meal. then when i was looking at the prices, from P76 the last time i ate there, it's now effin P80. TAKTE. no way man! i wont spend 80 bucks for their flat longganizas. harang! tae na. maigi pa yung longsilog dun sa may dapitan. P40 pero solve na solve ka na. sarap pa. haaay talaga naman. i hope jollibee wont increase their prices. they'll have my utmost loyalty

Currently feeling: disappointed

it rained very hard after my class yesterday. i had this suspicion that espana's gonna be flooded so i told myself, what da heck, i aint gonna be able to make it. but it stopped at exactly 7. that meant i'd be able to bring home the car first since color coding is over. so i changed clothes and then took the lrt to araneta. by the time i arrived, the lobby was beginning to get empty. it was the start of the 3rd quarter. mejo sa tapat pa ng bench ng Air21 ako naglakad papunta ng bench ng ginebra at nakakahiya. lolz. i so miss watching the PBA.

i was just quiet most of the time. reacting to bad calls and nice moves, laughing to funny comments. but that's it, my mouth was just shut, though sometimes i would tell kuya rey's wife a short comment. i was blessed to have a seat in the PBA finals, the big dome was jampacked on a Wednesday night. what more if it's going to be on a sunday? i plan to watch the ust feu game on sunday, then proceed to araneta if the game will be held there.

ginebra won. i was happy for my friends playing for ginebra. they just got thousands of pesos richer last night. and probably millions richer if they win the championship. i went with ronald to his house after the game. he treated us for dinner again, nothing new about it. and even though i've got a job already, he gave me bonus moolah. again...i told myself, it can't be like this forever. what if there's no ronald tubid anymore playing in the pba and there's no generous soul like him in the league. what if it's full of thrifty marlou aquino or lets say willie wilson? lolz. don't get me wrong willie's my friend and i've known marlou for a long time as well. haaay i miss my teen years in the PBA. but then, i wouldn't wanna get myself doing the same thing over and over again, parang langaw na nakapatong sa kalabaw. lolz

here i am, at 10 am. i just woke up. some 7 hours ago, i was in ronald's fortuner leaving valle verde. it's been a long time that i woke up late like this. i work 6 days a week but i aint complaining. im blessed to have a job i somehow like doing. wednesdays and saturdays are my must-get-ready days. but sept 6? ateneo-la salle? come on! only a suspension of classes would allow me to watch such an event. pray pray pray

Currently feeling: sleepy

tis is the only sunday so far that i will cherish. the reason- i am able to rest, and i mean it. it's 7 in the evening and i'm already wearing my comfy sleeping clothes. i remember last week, i wore my gym shorts to sleep that i wasn't able to change my clothes anymore because of exhaustion. though, the shorts' clean, (i don't sweat a lot, the gym's airconditioned, and there's no jologs there) i felt dirty pa ren kahit papano di ba? imagine, after working the whole day, an average of 10 hrs a day, i still manage to workout. why? i'm loving it. honest! my trainer keeps me in shape. though i have this little love handle, which i can't burn that easily since i eat a lot, i think i've got cuts in my arms already. my neighbor anthony noticed it the other day because i was wearing a jersey.

a while ago, we ate at cyma in trinoma. i ordered lamb chops and lemonade with splenda as sweetener. i really liked that salad they with wallnuts. i didn't even bother to take note of the names in the menu because they made the writing somewhat greek-like. i can't blame them, it's a greek restaurant. i remember eating in cafe med in galleria when i was a teenager. i miss it. does it still exist? not really sure about that. i felt very independent during those times. i don't kow why... weird.

oh speaking of sunday, i feel guilty. i didn't hear mass when i had the chance. what i do these days, i talk to Him when i drive. lolz. people will definitely laugh at me if they see me talking to no one. especially that my car's not tinted. also i feel guilty that i didn't stay late at faye's birthday celebration last night. i was really sleepy... and since i'm not that good in terms of cocktail parties, the tequilla added to the sleepy head effect. and i don't wanna get caught drinking and driving. but no worries, next wednesday, we're trying out hooters. im excited.

alright, it got a bit relieved. i just got home from a spa along banawe. i wanted to go to sanctuario sana but the thing is i wanted to spend 500 pesos only for a fancy massage. i am still waiting for my money by the way. as a matter of fact, i want all my money collections to come na so i can pay for my bills and buy a lot of stuff especially clothes.

a while ago, i went to a mini inuman with a few of my students like edd, emma rose, rex etc. seven of them i think. If im not mistaken theyre taking up internal audit. they were really cool. although i may sound a bit boring to them because i ask them to add some finesse to their actions. like be poised especially when they're in public. and what a spoiler, i even tell them to study hard even when we're out drinking.   oh by the way, since there was a general assembly this afternoon, i had time to do my recording for the voice prompt of the university's phone system. i hope they like it, though i think it won't get accepted.

these past few days i admit, when i get home, im quite sad. i miss the things i used to do when i wasn't teaching yet. maybe my first salary would somehow make me happy. i hope so. im sad too because la salle didn't win against ateneo. haha. what's new eh la salle's always the protagonist. they win at first but then WE end up as champions. im happy because tina gave me an animo shirt. im sad because my groupmates in our ktv session turned their back on me and mommy naty because of a stupid incident. though at least i can sleep early now. im sad because i feel i have a little acne on my left cheek. it wasn't there yet when i watched the uaap then i felt the bump tuesday morning.
