A Full Friday

Today has been full of nice-ness. I raced around this morning during E's first nap cleaning up, trying to get on top of my housework. I was mostly unsuccessful but it felt good to race about...
Sonia and Ruthie then called by for a visit. Son loves her new job at the RAAF.
No sooner had they left, did Mum call by. (Does that sentence even make sense?/)
Mum left and I rocked E to sleep.
Maria came for a visit. She brought marking guidelines (yay!) so I can mark those dumb papers for my dumb school. I read through some of her Extension English marking. We lunched and chatted and I began (again) to miss working with her. E decided not to sleep anymore but was incredibly cute instead.
After lunch the bloke from Smith Aluminium came and installed my new back screen door. Yay! Fresh air, no mosquitoes.
Mark got home and Maria left. He was unsuccessful in his attempts to get E to sleep. So we fed her, played with her and bathed her. I organised dinner and then left Mark to get E to sleep while I took the puppies for a walk.
Puppies dragged me about the neighbourhood. E slept. (Yay!) We ate dinner uninterrupted and then made up lots of pureed veggies for E's dinners.
We pottered about cleaning up and chatting, the puppies slept inside.
E woke for a feed at 8:30pm and it's now 9:45pm she's asleep, puppies are barking at mice but are going to go to bed soon . . . we are going to bed, all is good, good, good.
