:) Randomness at its best
Everything's happening in a not so parallel manner as to how I've expected them to be. Like, I wasn't actually planning to come home (Laguna) today but since my mom was like, er, begging me in a not-so-straightforward-manner to go home and accompany her for the next few days (Wala daw kasi siya maka-usap and maybe she just misses me, hahah), I then decided at last, to leave my apartment at around four in the afternoon and go home straight.
Why-what? Our caretaker Kuya Jess wasn't home, neither was his wife, Ate Daisy cause she just gave birth (C-section) to their fourth child (A bouncing 8 point-something kilograms!) yesterday at Fabella. And yes, I forgot to mention that they're still at Fabella right now so basically, no one is left to take care of the kiddos, (which for a fact, are my mom and dad's godchildren) except for, of course, my mother, since she's at home most of the time (My dad goes to work during the day). Another thing that made me finally decide whether I'm to go home rightaway, despite my community duties, was the fact that I don't want my mother to shoulder the care-giving burden and responsibilities all by herself (Oh, I'm such a good daughter, bless me! Hahah!). Truth be told with these children? They're not much of kiddos actually; one is 13, the next is 10 and the other one's 7. But still, being the adults that we are, it is our responsibility to make sure that these children are well-fed and safe while their parents are away. And of course, being an "unnie" to these kids, I also felt the need to participate in taking care of them. I left at around 4 and went to Robinson's to get myself some blank CDs and a gatorade, went to CAS to check on Harold and saw Sugar too. Some chitchat. Talk again with Harold about exams, random stuffs, exam, summer, exam, random people, exam, and then came Jae-oppa. Hahah. No denying, he was really tired. I can tell just by looking at his face, though amazingly, he can still manage to smile in an oh-so-vibrant way! :D (Nakanangs, toothpaste komersyal ba itetch?)
He has this habit of teasing me with whatever he pleases everytime he sees me, this time, with Harold naman. Wala talagang magawa! And so, we talked for like an hour and a half. After that, we bid each other our "see you's" and left the college. I headed to Taft while Harold waited for his mom. Kamusta naman ang promise ko with my Mom that I'll be leaving Manila at around 4PM? Two hours late.
Old soul, I am. I felt really nice and comfortable having been able to chat with with my old, uh i mean, not so old(chronologically) friends for a longer period of time.
It's like when you're with people whom you consider the most important beings in your life, you feel like you're very much secured and relaxed. It's actually as effective as to how a chocolate bar or a pancake floating in plate full of maple syrup is able to uplift my spirits whenever I feel down and lonely. (Drama ito!) It's sweet, pleasurable and most of all stress-relieving! (Siyet, sex ba yan?) Go get a weekly dose of this yourself, believe me, it'll work! I'll see if we'll be having any more, or like, even MORE of the usual prying eyes and blabbermouths around the campus. When I advice other people regarding certain matters like these, i tell him/her not to mind them and just practically be the person who he/she really is. (Good point!)
"Indeed, we're better off without them. Though you can't help but feel nasty at times, i think it'd be best if you just let them be. Who are they anyway? They're just practically your nonsensical, disgustingly stupid, can't-do-anything-so-I-just-listen-stalk-and-blab-about-what-I-think-I-already-know sort of people. Don't waste your time on them." (Move over, Confucius!)
I'm not falling to any one of your bobo-traps. Eat snot you pigs.
