Here are some basketball and basketball-related thoughts for you fans out there.

TNT does a better job of basketball coverage than anybody else. Doug Collins, Steve Kerr, Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith provide good analysis and are hilarious (maybe not Collins).

Have you seen the T-Mobile commercial featuring Ben Wallace on his phone in the locker room as his name is being called on the court in Miami? All the Miami fans start chanting for Ben and he suddenly realizes that his opponent's fans really want him to play, so he rushes onto the court. What a brilliantly put together commercial. Everybody knows how much Miami Heat fans love Ben Wallace.

In an attempt to improve my shooting, I downloaded Dirk Nowitzki's secret weapon. For those of you who are not aware, Dirk Nowitzki sings David Hasselhoff's hit song "Looking for freedom" to himself to calm himself when he shoots freethrows. It's a pretty good song, and I've uploaded it. Before you listen to it, however, you should know that it will move you.
