the sky has been really, really blue this past week. No, there isn't any double meaning. It's just that it's been remarkably blue, as if God pressed ctrl+u and bumped the saturation up a few notches (ask someone who knows photoshop if you didn't get that.) hehe.
it's beautiful. too bad it signifies that the day will be incredibly hot, and not Paris Hilton hot. if the sky is clear it means there are few clouds to protect us. eek.
oooh. a beautiful harbinger of doom. sweeet. XD
If you follow your bliss, you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. Wherever you are — if you are following your bliss, you are enjoying that refreshment, that life within you, all the time.
got that line from here. it's a nice read, and I encourage you to do so, because he makes a lot of good points that can benefit anyone. even you.
naisip ko lang, if that article's title was translated to tagalog it'd be "ang betlog para habulin yung sarap". hahahaha!
on a more serious and bragging note, I remember saying something like the blockquoted text back in college, at the meeting de avance. hehe. "ang sinisigaw ng puso." ^__^ but I doubt anyone remembers that.
on bliss: if you read the ""source" link on Corsarius' post, you'll see that Campbell stumbled on the idea of bliss as the thing in the middle of consciousness and enlightenment. I searched for that place some time before, too (as a byproduct of my Transcendental Meditation classes in UP) --but I called it the source of intuition and creativity; the key to predicting the future; and ultimate power.
hmmm. therefore happiness=power and not vice versa. argh, our language is not fluid enough to express the idea. oh well.
I want a hard copy of Campbell's book. XP
kung ang tawag dito:

ay bungalow, ano naman tawag dito?

e di...
BUNGAHIGH! hek hek hek hek...

"Transcendental Meditation classes in UP"...is this a PE class?
re: betlog, hehehe! medyo sadya yung balls-bliss connection. you know me, innuendo manages to creep into my pieces.

I think common knowledge na dapat yan. Siya ba unang nakaisip niyan? Di ba "follow your heart" na rin ang tawag dun? Or get a job where you are doing what you love? I dunno, masyado ko nang narinig ang mga cliche na yun dati pa.
It's also something psychological (er, spiritual? intangible?)... Bliss is comforting. People tend to take something comfortable. It tells your brain that you're being more productive or achieving more because you're not in a rut and disliking what you are doing. Tama ba?
Paris is not hot.
I want a treehouse.

I'd ennumerate the things that keep people from doing so but that'd be a whole other post, and Pavlina has mentioned most of them already.
I want a building --at least 20 stories. with a black infinity pool at it's penthouse. hmmm. in 5 years? :D

Oh, and the clouds are pretttyyyyy these days. With silver linings, of course. ;)
